Art collector’s Octagon

The renovation of this beautifully situated octagonal house in the hills of Dutchess County brings a modern, functional sharpness to an eclectic, midcentury home. By carefully rearranging interior walls, a line of site was opened up from the living room to the main entry, giving a sense of openness within the cozy confines of the existing architecture. The updated bathroom nestles a luxurious shower and large vanity into the irregular geometry.
